During its more than 25 years of operation in Pécs, Körber’s Pécs site has invested HUF 30.8 billion, most of which was directly related to production. The company continuously expands and modernizes its machine park across its operating units: the cutting and sheet metal working plant, the machine assembly plant, and the equipment manufacturing plant. The new, more modern and efficient machines include CNC machining centers, laser cutting and welding machines, spot welders, spark erosion machines, 3D scanners, painting equipment, and sheet metal processing machines.
In addition, there is a strong focus on Industry 4.0 solutions, including the expansion of digitalization and the implementation of paperless production. More and more employees use mobile devices, and touchscreen-controlled equipment is becoming increasingly widespread.
